John, a local to the Bryan/College Station area, has been in the financial services industry for over 15 years. He is a graduate of Bryan High School and Texas A&M University. Prior to forming Kriel Financial Services, LLC John worked in the Retirement Plan Services division for Lincoln Financial Group focusing on large employer retirement plans. This position afforded him the opportunity to learn valuable expertise on a wide array of employer retirement plans and interact with people to help them meet their retirement goals at various locations across the United States.

During his career, John has furthered his education by successfully completing the Texas A&M University Financial Planning program and becoming a Certified Financial Planner™ professional in 2015- a designation that has long been recognized as the fundamental and foremost educational credential in the financial planning industry. He has also obtained his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor SM or CRPC® as well as his Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist SM or CRPS® designations from the College For Financial Planning.

Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is actively involved with his church where he serves on the Deacon Board. His hobbies include being an avid outdoorsman and playing sports.
